How to make an entrance

 Walt Disney World has made the announcement that their iconic gateway that signifies guests arrival to Disney is going to have a makeover. The new gateway is going to use similar colours as the recent facelift to the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, as well as the Magic Kingdom Auto Plaza. The picture below gives a glimpse at what the new entrance will look like once completed. 

The revamped gateway is a lot different than the classic design we all know and love. Its feature of a miniature Cinderella Castle above the Walt Disney World logo, and a blue banner that read "Where Dreams Come True."

Thew new gateway will feature flag-embellished arches and cut-outs of Mickey Mouse on the left and Minnie Mouse on the right. In addition to this the phrase "Where Dreams Come True" will no longer be on the gateway but instead will read the phrase "The Most Magical Place On Earth". 

This change comes just months after Disney change the colour scheme of the Cinderella Castle. The iconic Magic Kingdom monument was painted pink with gold accents in the course of just a few months. 

It's my guess that Disney are making these changes to ensure that Disney World looks its best for the parks 50th anniversary on October 1st, 2021. As  well as letting all of their guests know that they are entering "The Most Magical Place On Earth", a slogan that is apt when describing Disney World Florida.
