Disney Dining

While staying at Disney I would suggest getting the Disney Dining Plan. With this plan you pre-pay for your dining experiences from snacks in the park to sit-down meal in the Beast's Castle. You will also be able to collect your resort refillable mug as part of the plan, these mugs give you unlimited refills of fizzy juice, coffee and tea at the Disney Resort you are staying in. As well as making a saving of 5% to 10%, if you use all of your credits allocated by the end of your holiday.

The Dining Plan makes it quick and easier when it comes to paying for your meals and snacks. When it comes to purchasing your food of choice all you have to do is tap your magic band off of the card machine, the only other thing you have to do before leaving is giving a tip to your server of your table (you don't need to tip if you are buying snacks).

It would be good idea to make reservations for the table services and quick service establishments. You will be able to make reservations 180 days before your check in date, that may seem a lot of time but popular dining establishments like 'Be Our Guest' it is needed. One thing I would highlight is that although these are free to book if you are a no show there will be a fee of $10 per person. Do not let this put you off making reservations as if you know you won't be attending the meal you can change the time that suits better or make the cancellation the day before.

Attraction Tickets Direct have an amazing video on YouTube that describes the Disney Dining Plan in 60 seconds. I would recommend watching it as it will give you a proper understanding on what each Dining Plan is offering. There are different types of Dining Plans offered there is the 'Quick Service Dining Plan', 'Disney Dining Plan', 'Disney Dining Plan Plus', and 'Disney Deluxe Dining Plan'.

To break it down the Quick Service Dining Plan provides each person per night stay with 2 self-service meals, 2 snack credits and 1 refillable resort mug.

The Disney Dining Plan provides everyone per night stay with 1 self-service meal, 1 waiter service meal, 2 snack credits and the refillable resort mug.

The Disney Dining Plan Plus gives you per night stay 2 self-service meals or 2 waiter service meals, 2 snack credits and your resort refillable mug.

The final Dining Plan the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan provides each individual per night stay with 3 self-service or waiter service meals, 2 snack credits and the refillable resort mug.
